Recently undergoing a full renovation throughout, Fig Tree House is an expansive, luxurious 3-bedroom holiday home away from home, perfectly situated in the most easterly and picturesque portion of the park, overlooking a beautiful coastal rainforest. Explore the beauty of Byron. Relax in the comfort of a modern family home. With more than enough space to keep parents, kids and even the grandparents comfortable, the affectionately-known Fig Tree House sleeps a total of 8, with the perfect layout to bring two families or one extended family together for the ultimate coastal getaway.

The expansive layout offers 2 generously sized queen bedrooms, a spacious third room with 2 singles, plus 2 trundle beds. The master bedroom includes a well-appointed ensuite bathroom, flatscreen TV and direct access to the deck for added privacy. Large open-plan living features a full kitchen with everything you need to create family meals, including gas oven, full size refrigerator, dishwasher and coffee machine, while living and dining space come complete with air conditioning and flat-screen television, giving you all the comforts of a home away from home. Start holiday mornings with breakfast around the table on the large private covered deck, with an easterly outlook into the forest (you can even spot local wildlife, including native birds and the occasional wallaby).

At night the outdoor patio is wonderful for family barbecues, while in the late evening couples can relax with a bottle of wine around the brazier, while kids make the most of the flat-screen television before bed. You’ll spend your days exploring the world-famous wonders of Byron, from snorkelling with sea turtles at Julian Rocks, learning to surf at our famous breaks and exploring the magnificent lighthouse trail (keep an eye out for whales during migration months!), to tasting some of the country’s best produce at local farmers markets and dining establishments. Around the park, you can enjoy swimming pool and ball courts, on-site restaurant/cafe, playground, games room and even a skate park for kids. The beautiful Tallow Beach is also only a short walk away. At the end of a long and sun-filled day, there’s no better home to return to than the cool and comfortable Fig Tree House.
