Blue Pool

This iconic natural rock pool is located at the base of a dramatic cliff on Scenic Drive, Bermagui. It’s the perfect spot for exploring or picnicking and Whale Watching during the season. Take a dip while you enjoy the magnificent views up and down the coast and to Montague Island.

The Foxglove Gardens

An enchanting open garden sprawling 3.5 acres in nearby Tilba Tilba. This romantic and whimsical garden has been developed over many years and has featured on shows such as Burkes Backyard and Better Homes and Gardens. Discover this fairy tale wonderland for yourself and take a leisurely stroll through the grounds or stop for a picnic. These magnificent gardens are open for viewing from 9am to 5pm.  

The Montreal Goldfield

The historic Montreal Goldfield, the site of a gold rush between 1880-1883, where nearly 250kg of gold was unearthed, is just minutes from our park.  Guided tours are $7.50 per person and $25 per Family and are conducted daily at 2pm. Visit the only goldfield in Australia that extends in to the sea and hear about the great Bermagui Mystery. 

Bermagui Heritage Trail

Visit the Bermagui Visitors Centre and pick up a copy of the Heritage Walk booklet and the Heritage Drive brochure. On the trail you will find 12 places of historical significance to visit and explore in the Bermagui area extending over 17kms from Wallaga Lake to Cuttagee Beach. 

Bermagui Fishermen’s Wharf

Located right on the harbour in Bermagui the Bermagui Fisherman’s Wharf is the perfect place to watch the catch of the day being unloaded in the marina and enjoy fresh local seafood. Visit the selection of restaurants and cafes or indulge in some local boutique shopping. 

Coastal Walks

The coastal walk from Wallaga Lake to Cuttagee Beach covers approximately 15kms of breathtaking coastal scenery. Along the walk you will encounter a wide variety of local flora and fauna and number of well-known natural wonders of the region including Camel Rock. 


Bermagui and the stunning Sapphire Coast are known for their fishing and angling. You can cast a line into Wallaga Lake right from our park. Bermagui is a popular destination for game fishing, you can also cast a line in the deep sea, on the reef, rocks, beach and estuaries. Take a charter tour from Bermagui and to try your hand at deep sea fishing. 

Whale Watching

There are a variety of fantastic vantage points to observe the Whale migration between mid-September through to mid-November. Visit one of the many lookouts along the Coastal Walk from Wallaga Lake to Cuttegee Beach at Murunna Point, Bermagui Point, Dickinson Point Headland and the Blue Pool or take a Whale Watching charter or tour leaving from Bermagui.
