Walking in a Winter Wonderland

26 May 2016

The weather may be cooling down but Winter doesn’t mean you have to be cooped up indoors! Whether you’re a casual stroller or a budding Bear Grylls, it’s time to take advantage of the cooler temperatures and experience some of the fantastic nature walks and hikes our great land has to offer, with no overheating and a lot less bugs!

To help you plan we’ve compiled a list of great National Parks and Nature Reserves you can visit** while staying in the comfort of an Ingenia Holidays park:

Ingenia Holidays Cairns Coconut – Barron Gorge

Ingenia Holidays Noosa  –  Noosa Trail Network

Ingenia Holidays Kingscliff  –  Wollumbin National Park

Ingenia Holidays South West Rocks  –  Arakoon National Park

Ingenia Holidays Soldiers Point  –  Tomaree National Park

Ingenia Holidays Hunter Valley  –  Werakata National Park

Ingenia Holidays Nepean River  –  Mulgoa Nature Reserve

Ingenia Holidays Broulee  –  Broulee Island Nature Reserve

Ingenia Holidays Lake Conjola  –  Narrawallee Creak Nature Reserve

So round up the kids, your partners and friends from in front of the TV; fill a pack with snacks, put on a jumper and head outdoors for your very own Winter Wonderland adventure.

** Remember, always follow the advice of your local national park rangers and authorities, take into account your abilities and local weather conditions and don’t begin long hikes after midday during Winter.
