Cables Wake Park

Cables Wake Park is located in Penrith within the Panthers Complex, 1 hour west of Sydney, at the foot of the Blue Mountains and encompasses a huge range of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Central to the park complex are the 2 main cable lakes where people of all ability levels can waterski, wakeboard or kneeboard.

For the younger kids there is a playground area, jumping pillow and Aqua Park on the water. Parents can enjoy a snack or coffee at the café or make use of the free BBQ areas.

Wet'N'Wild Sydney

Penrith White Water Stadium

Penrith White-water Stadium was the competition venue for the canoe/kayak slalom events during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. It is the only man-made river of its kind in the southern hemisphere. Now you can take on the challenge of Olympic sized rapids yourself!

Available from September to June they offer white-water rafting and kayaking for anyone as young as 12 years. So if you are looking for some extreme fun, then look no further.

The Rock Lookout - Mulgoa

The Rock Lookout area of the Blue Mountains National Park is situated within the historic Mulgoa Valley, only minutes from the bustling city of Penrith. A short track of a few hundred metres leads to The Rock with superb views of the Nepean River. A longer track of 2.5 kilometres leads through swampy heath and Eucalyptus forest to Riley's Mountain where more views of the Nepean Gorge and surrounds can be enjoyed.

Access throughout this section of Blue Mountains National Park is by foot (over uneven ground) from the car park at the end of Fairlight Road, Mulgoa.
