The Cheese Factory

The Hunter Valley Cheese Factory invites you to taste their range of fine handmade and preservative free cheeses. Cheeses are available for tasting and purchase, as are fresh quality breads and preserves.

Hunter Valley Wine School

Want to learn more about winemaking? The Hunter Valley Wine School has a daily certificate tour to have guests walk away with a newfound knowledge of winemaking... and tasting!

The two-hour experience includes a walk through the vineyard, a lesson on how wine is actually made from the grapevine to bottle and of course some tasting!  

Hot Air Ballooning

The award winning Balloon Aloft Hunter Valley flights begin at sunrise and take in views of the picturesque wine regions of Pokolbin, Lovedale, Rothbury or Broke. Balloon flights last approximately one hour and are followed by a delicious gourmet breakfast and champagne celebration at the famous Peterson House winery and Restaurant. This is the perfect way to experience the beauty of the Hunter Valley!
