Water sports on the lake

Take advantage of the stunning location and spend a day out on the water at Lake Conjola. Enjoy a swim, push out the boat or throw in a line and see what you can catch. Walking on Water have a range of equipment for hire from kayaks and stand-up paddle boards to water skis.

Conjola National Park

Conjola National Park is a dream for nature lovers any time of the year. See the splashes of colourful wildflowers in spring or go for a hike in the fresh, crisp winter air. There a range of trails suitable for walking and mountain biking that traverse the park’s vast forests, flowing creeks and ocean front. Kangaroos and echidnas are often seen in the park along with a variety of bird life including black cockatoo, powerful owls and black swans.

Historic Milton

A visit to nearby Milton is a must for those interested in the past, antiques or just to admire the charm of this historic town. Stroll along the streets and get a taste of how things looked 150 years ago from the beautiful Court House and Post Office to quaint original workers’ cottages. These days you can also enjoy a range of delicious local cuisine and a variety of arts and crafts.

Narrawallee Creek Nature Reserve

A bit of a local favourite, Narrawallee Creek Nature Reserve takes in almost 5km of pristine coastlines and lush coastal hinterland. Pull on your hiking boots or grab your mountain bike and explore the trails through peaceful forests dotted with burrawangs and banksias. The Narrawallee Inlet track and Pattimores Lagoon are both great spots to do some bird watching or if you’re in the mood for an adventure, reach the reserve via the Burrawang track that leads from Conjola Beach to Buckleys Point, taking in some stunning views.

Conjola Lake Ocean Beach

Relax on the soft sand and take in the views at Conjola Lake Ocean Beach, where the bush meets the beach. The long, sweeping beach stretches from the inlet to Lake Conjola to Buckleys Point and is a beautiful place to relax on the sand, take a walk along the waterfront or wade in the water.
