Ingenia Holidays Avina is located in Vineyard, a suburb in outer Sydney with a relaxed and rural atmosphere. It is a great destination for groups and sporting teams with a range of professional standard sporting facilities within close reach and fun options for active holiday activities in the region.

Here are some of our recommendations to help you plan your next getaway.

Windsor Heritage Walk

Enjoy a day strolling through Windsor or split the two sections over a couple of days and take your time exploring the historic landmarks and colonial architecture. The walk includes The Square with its anchor memorial to the pioneer families of the region, the Gregorian style Hawkesbury Museum, Windsor Courthouse and site of the Old Gaol and charming old homes and commercial buildings dating back to the 1800’s.

Sydney Olympic Park Homebush

Sydney Olympic Park was built for the 2000 Olympic Games and has become a hub for sport, events and family fun for the city. Splash around at the Aquatic Centre’s water playground, go see a match at the stadium, hire a bike and explore over 35km of pathways or enjoy a BBQ in one of the parks.

Wet n Wild Sydney

As the temperature heats up get ready to cut loose at Wet n Wild Sydney, open selected days from Sep to Apr. Hurtle at high speeds on extreme slides such as the 360Rush and Riptide or lay back in a tube and float along with the current at Boomerang Bay. Younger kids will love the splashy fun and colourful characters at Nickelodeon Beach.

Featherdale Wildlife Park

Come face to face with the furry, scaled and feathered residents of Featherdale Wildlife Park, Australia’s largest native collection. Hand feed a kangaroo, have a photo with a koala, marvel at the impressive bird collection from little penguins to emus and see some of the park’s endangered and vulnerable species including quolls, greater bilbies, Tasmanian devils and more.

Trees Adventure Grose River Park

Strap on a harness and take to the trees at Trees Adventure Grose River Park. Take in the beautiful views from high up in the Blue Gums as you challenge yourself to navigate tight ropes, balance beams and tunnels and fly through the trees on flying foxes. Ten different courses cater for all skill levels from children’s courses all the way up to the Xtreme Black course.

After a busy day of exploring the region you can relax and unwind at Ingenia Holidays Avina. The park offers a range of cabin, caravan and camping options along with a pool, games room and children’s playground.
