If you’re dreaming of a holiday relaxing by the water, exploring the great outdoors and trying a range of water sports, then you can’t go past Lake Macquarie. Ingenia Holidays Lake Macquarie is just 70 minutes from Sydney and is perfectly located right on the waterfront. Here are some of our favourite things to do to help you plan your next lakeside getaway.

Head out on the water

Lake Macquarie is Australia’s largest coastal saltwater lake and at twice the size Sydney Harbour there is plenty of space to get out and enjoy the water. Ingenia Holidays Lake Macquarie has its own jetty and boat ramp so you can throw in a line or go boating and kayaking just steps from your accommodation. The lake is also a beautiful spot to take a swim or lay out a picnic and just soak in the serenity.
