What skills and qualifications do I need?
There are no prerequisites for our Housekeeping job vacancies!
However, some of our roles do have requirements.
Some of our roles will require Police checks and/or background checks to be completed prior to commencement in our Holiday Parks. Our recruitment team will assist you with this process to make sure you know what’s required.
When can I start?
You can indicate your preference for start date on the Ingenia Holidays Application form. Our peak season is between October 2023 – February 2024.
Can I complete my 88 days’ work for my second or third holiday visa at one of your locations?
Our holiday parks are not an eligible postcode of regional Australia to complete the 88 days for a 2nd or 3rd working holiday visa. To check the postcode list of designated regional areas, check out the Australian government website of specified work areas.
Can I apply with a mate/partner?
You can apply with a mate/partner! The more the merrier at our Holiday parks and if you can work with someone you know, then why not. Don’t forget to mention you are applying as a duo or couple in your application form.
How many hours can I work?
There might be conditions on your visa that only allows specific work with a certain employer or number of hours you can work per week.

Can I work at multiple parks?
Absolutely! Work your way up and down the coast. Just don’t forget to indicate your location preference in your Ingenia Holidays Application form. Be sure to also indicate this during your interview process.
Accommodation – what are we doing here? What’s near me?
While we can only guarantee subsidised accommodation at some of our locations, we can make arrangements for those with Camper Vans to stay onsite while you work.
Just be sure to provide details in your application form if you will be traveling with a campervan.

I don’t have a resume; can I still apply?
If you do not have a resume, please upload an application letter outlining your experience and why you think you would be suitable for a role at Ingenia Holidays. Maximum one page.
I’ve applied, now what?
When you’ve submitted your online application, you’ll receive an automated email confirming that we’ve received your application. Our Recruitment team will contact you within two weeks of your application.
If you don’t receive a confirmation email of your application within 24-48 hours of your application being submitted, check your junk folders so you don’t miss out on important emails throughout the recruitment process.
What is the standard Ingenia Holidays’ recruitment process?
The recruitment may process vary slightly for each role. Typically, our recruitment team will review your resume against the criteria for the role you’ve applied for. If you meet the criteria, you’ll be asked to complete a phone screening and/or interview with one of our Holiday Park Managers.
If you’re successful for the role, you may need to complete background checks before receiving an offer. Our recruitment team will assist you with this process.
I am travelling with a pet. Can I bring them?
We have over 30 pet friendly parks across Queensland, New South Wales & Victoria that would love to meet your four-legged friends.
