There are few aromas that can rival a warm, freshly baked loaf of bread or buttery croissant in the morning. Luckily for us, our parks are just minutes away from some of the best bakeries Australia has to offer with delicious artisan sourdoughs, flaky croissants, epic cakes and delicate pastries on the daily.

And because we love all the baked goods (remember holiday calories don’t count), we’ve compiled a list of the top five bakeries whilst holidaying at Ingenia Holidays.

South Coast NSW

Milton: The Heritage Bakery

Located in one of Milton’s oldest buildings, The Heritage Bakery has our vote for the best-baked goods spot in town. While there are many highlights on offer, it’s their traditional sourdough loaves made onsite take 36 hours to make and are well worth the wait.

Team favourite: Apple & Currant Sourdough

Central Coast NSW

Budgewoi: Budgewoi Bakehouse

It’s a modest country gourmet pie shop that does traditional pies well but go here for a jazzed-up pie flavour you’ve never seen before.
